Degrees and Certifications:
My name is Josh Hammock. I have lived in the southern Oklahoma, northern Texas area my entire life. I grew up in Davis, Oklahoma before I graduated high school in Gunter, Texas. I played baseball at Murray State College in Tishomingo, OK before graduating with my Bachelor's degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, OK. I have also recieved my Master's Degree from Southeastern.
I started teaching and coaching in 2008 at Whitesboro ISD and was there for 8 years prior to coming over to Callisburg ISD in 2016. My teaching career has included 5th grade math, P.E., 8th grade math, special Ed., algebra I, 6th grade english, and high school english. I have coached football, basketball, track, and baseball. For the 2017-2018 school year, I will be in the Special Ed. department while coaching football and also will be the head baseball coach. I really enjoyed working with and getting to know the students and faculty during my first year at Callisburg. I'm excited and confident of seeing continued growth for myself, my colleagues I work with, and the students and players I have the pleasure of being around during this school year!!
My wife, Adrianne, she is a Whitesboro graduate, (don't hold that against her!), and I have been married for 11 years and have 3 children; Madasyn- 5th grade, Cy- 1st Grade, and Makynleigh- 3 years old. We love to stay busy with sports, board games, fishing, and going on vacations to either the beach or mountains!
If you ever need to reach me, please call the school office or email me. I try to check my email every hour or so during the day.
